HP: Sparring with benefits

In this installment, we meet a few more of the Huckleberrians.

Gibby Springsteen is a gifted winemaker.  She makes a comfortable living growing, harvesting and squishing and loves the independence the career gives her.

Gibby has time to devote her talents to many hobbies.  She is a playful witch.  Her flirting is irresistible to many in Huckleberry Pineridge.

One of her roommates is a dreamer.  Link Ono is a scandalous girl who would like nothing more than to marry someone who can provide for her.

Furthermore, she has a continued, obsessive relationship with "The Real Housewives" saga.

On this bright winter morning, Link has agreed to meet Gibby for a martial arts training session at Cobra Dojo.

Gibby is serious about martial arts.  She is a blackbelt and knows how to defend the weak against the evils of tyranny or a burglar.

Link was not looking forward to her training session.  She had her eyes on a beautiful man who hopefully disciplined.

His name was Jerome Binks.

He changed into his business suit the minute he spied Link.  She thought smugly to herself, "this should be easy."

He through it out in the middle of the conversation, he threw it out, "so, I'm an acrobat."

"Oh really..."

He then went on to tell a ridiculously dry joke.

Link was smitten.

Meanwhile, Surrender was eyeing Gibby.  They hooked up, a few times actually.  They had been good friends in high school and roommates since.  He knew she had other guys that she at least flirted with, but he didn't care.  He would drop everything to be with her.

Surrender decided to challenge Gibby to a sparring match.

"What do I get if I win?" She asked so coyly, Surrender thought about losing on purpose.  "On second hand, what do you get if you win?"

"You in my bed."  Surrender took a chance and prayed his voice didn't shake as he said the words.  She was quick about her spoils.

"You in the hottub.  The one in the next room."

She taunted him.  Let her taunt.

Either way, this evening was going to be great.

Respectfully they bowed deeply to one another.  She smelled good then, like raspberry candy.  Surrender bet she tasted sweet, too.

Fight!  Surrender jumped to an early lead.

Then Gibby turned it on.  Remarkably she hovered in midair.  He was so stunned that he froze.

That's when the kick happened.  After Surrender woke up and found himself sore and with a new belt.  She kissed him.  Hard.

Surrender tried to speak.  "You fight well Gibby.  You should enter...waahwah."

"Just relax Surrender.  I've got everything in my hands, now."  And she did.

That's not all.  There must be something in the Dojo water.
